NIB finances Bonnier Fastigheter’s refurbishing of buildings in Sweden
NIB and Bonnier Fastigheter AB have signed an 8-year loan agreement to finance the refurbishing of three properties in Stockholm and two in Uppsala.
The SEK 200 million (EUR 17.05 million) loan finances investments to improve the buildings’ energy efficiency, making them more attractive for the tenants.
In Stockholm, the buildings are Bonnierhuset, scheduled for completion in November 2024, and Ersta Torn in May 2025, with Förlagshuset having been completed in September 2023. In Uppsala, the buildings are Gottsunda Centrum shopping mall, where energy saving investments are to be completed in 2030, while the refurbishment of Hus Vega at Cykelfabriken was completed in July 2023.
“NIB is pleased to become a new lender to Bonnier Fastigheter, supporting the renovation of five distinct buildings. These projects exemplify the significant energy efficiency improvements that can be achieved in both residential and commercial properties,” said Patrick Nylund, Senior Banker at NIB.
