NIB at COP28

NIB will participate as an observer in the 28th session of the Conference of Parties (COP28) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The session is arranged in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and aims to negotiate measures for stabilising greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at levels that would prevent hazardous human-induced changes to the climate system. This year, the conference will discuss the inaugural global stocktake on meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement.

The Nordic Investment Bank will host and participate in a series of panel discussions to highlight efforts and strategies in finance and policy to address global climate change and transition towards sustainability.

NIB is partnering with the Nordic pavilion organised by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
