Where we operate

Helsinki

Our headquarters are located in Helsinki since NIB’s establishment. Finland scores well on surveys that measure the overall quality of life—being ranked the happiest country in the world for eight years in a row—and Helsinki is amongst the most liveable cities across the globe. Good services and one of the highest levels of education in the world make it a great place to call home.

Riga

NIB has opened a regional office in Riga in 2023, and in 2024 we have signed a Host Country Agreement with Latvia to formalise its status. While our headquarters remains in Helsinki, NIB can also recruit and station workforce in Latvia. Combining Riga’s quality living standards, stunning architecture and good transport connections to the other Nordic–Baltic countries, the Latvian capital makes the perfect business hub.

Selection process

1. Applying

Complete an online application form and attach your CV, cover letter and other relevant documents in our recruitment system. Applications sent by email are not eligible, as we require all applicants to submit documents through the same channel.

2. Shortlisting

We shortlist the candidates after the deadline for applications to the respective position has passed. Both hiring managers and HR business partners are involved in the shortlisting process.

3. First interview

The first interviews are usually conducted by the hiring manager and an HR business partner. Prior to the interview, we may conduct a call with the candidate.

4. Further interview

The following interviews are usually carried out by the hiring manager, HR business partner, head of the department and potentially other staff involved in the process. This stage may also include assessments or work-related tasks.

5. Finalising

The selected candidate receives an official offer from NIB after the reference check. All candidates that are still active at this stage will be contacted by an HR business partner about the outcome.
