This initiative aims to support the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in building renovations, including heating, ventilation, isolation systems, and electric car charging points.
Hypo is a specialist in analysis of market trends within the housing sector. Since 2010, NIB and Hypo have signed 3 loans of approximately EUR 30 million for energy efficiency improvements for households or housing companies.
Fulfilment of NIB's mandate
Eligible projects are small scale projects by housing companies that aim to enhance energy efficiency of buildings, to install renewable energy at buildings (for example geothermal heating) or investments in electrical charging infrastructure.
