Project
The 7-year-maturity loan totalling EUR 12 million has been provided for onlending to Finnish households and housing companies for implementing energy efficiency projects which have positive environmental impacts. The projects aim to reduce emissions to air by means such as heat pumps or ground heat, or by installing better house insulation. Moreover, the projects might implement renewable energy by, for example, changing to pellet heating, installing small scale wind power or solar panels.
The loan will be allocated under NIB’s CLEERE facility.
Suomen Hypoteekkiyhdistys (The Mortgage Society of Finland), founded in 1860, is an independent finance company specialising in housing loans. The Mortgage Society is a mutual company in which the members are the borrower clients.
