Project
The loan has been provided for Skanska Financial Services AB to build a new headquarters building called “Olivin” in Stockholm, Sweden.
The construction started in Q1 2024, and the building is planned to be ready in Q4 2026. Skanska aims for the Olivin HQ building to reach a zero-CO2 certification. Skanska will use 13 000 m2 of the 23 000 m2 office space (57%) for own use. This loan is 100% NEB-eligible.
Skanska AB is a world-leading construction and project development group focused on commercial properties, residential properties, and infrastructure projects in the Nordics, Europe, and North America.
Fulfilment of NIB's mandate
Productivity:
The “Olivin” building is set to be the first phase of the new Lindhagen neighbourhood development area in Stockholm. The headquarters will have 23,000 square meters of lettable space, of which Skanska will use 13,000 square meters for its own operations. Given the ambition to achieve LEED Platinum (the highest LEED certification level) and Zero CO2 certifications. The building will be highly energy efficient and consequently attractive for tenants.
Environment:
The building is planned and designed to achieve a LEED Platinum (highest LEED certification level) green building certification and to be aligned with EU taxonomy requirements for green buildings. Skanska’s ambition is to reach a zero-CO2 certification for the project.
