Project
The loan has been provided to finance Danish KK Wind Solutions’ expansion and growth to deliver sustainable energy solutions to the wind turbine industry. The acquisition includes three converter and control panels factories.
Building on more than 40 years’ experience, KK Wind Solutions is a strong partner in electro-mechanical systems for wind turbines. Their offshore and onshore solutions range from the development of state-of-the-art systems and lean manufacturing to installation, operations and maintenance.
Fulfilment of NIB's mandate
The acquisition will increase KK Wind Solutions’ sales and R&D activities and will double the company’s staff.
In addition, over the longer term, the acquisition may boost innovation in the whole wind energy cluster in Denmark.
