Fulfilment of NIB's mandate
Productivity:
The new office space will be mostly occupied by Academic Work, a recruitment company that helps students and recent graduates to enter the labour market.
As a matching platform in the life sciences hub in Hagastaden, Stockholm, Academic Work helps with skills screening in the recruitment process. For people entering the labour market, the platform facilitates on-the-job training and provides consulting services. Therefore, the operations of Academic Work in Life City are expected to improve the labour market efficiency in Stockholm’s life science cluster.
Environment:
The company plans to certify the building in accordance with the BREEAM-SE Excellent green building certificate, which is the second highest certification class and evaluates the sustainability performance of the buildings.
The location is easily accessible by public transport, and the building design includes bicycle parking as well as charging points for electric vehicles.
Estimated impacts related to the investments:
- BREEAM Excellent certified green building gross floor area: 30,000 m2
- Use of energy: 46 KWh/m2
