Financing the green transition and future of mobility

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) is inviting to a seminar focused on the green transition — in particular the future of mobility — as part of reaching the climate targets globally and in Sweden. Mobility is important to Sweden as it covers major industries with transport causing about a third of the country’s domestic CO₂ emissions. The future of mobility is electrified, connected and automated, and the seminar aims to answer questions such as:

How can Sweden and the Nordic-Baltic region build up a leading EV cluster and battery value chain?
How is Sweden advancing the green transition in the current macroeconomic environment?
How can Sweden increase its productivity and why is it important?
What are the major investment needs, constraints and how can they be unlocked?
How do investment needs align or differ from other Nordic and Baltic countries, and how can private and public sectors cooperate to achieve them?
Also, what are the available financing tools and how can they be developed further?
